Le château spreads goodwill with the old brewery mission

The company will donate $16,289 worth of clothes and accessories to this Ville-Marie organization

LE CHÂTEAU of Montreal honoured the spirit of giving this past holiday season with a pledge to help local charities. From December 26^th to 31^st, 2015, for every dollar sold in all LE CHÂTEAU Outlet stores across Montreal, as well as from the LE CHÂTEAU Outlet website, the Company pledged to donate an equal amount of clothing, shoes and accessories to charitable organizations in Canada. After all the sales were counted, this amounted to an impressive $282,182 to benefit various organizations in Canada.

As a result, LE CHÂTEAU of Montreal is proud to be donating $16,289 to those who need it most through The Old Brewery Mission. The organization works with Montreal’s homeless people, meeting their essential needs while finding practical and sustainable solutions designed to end homelessness as we know it. For 125 years, the Old Brewery Mission has provided emergency services to all those who have knocked at their door.

In addition to The Old Brewery Mission, eight other charities will benefit from this initiative, including women in need through West Island Women’s Shelter, Le Chaînon, La Maison Bleue, as well as those in need through AJOI, Dans la rue, Sun Youth, the Service d’intégration à la collectivité (SIC) and Centraide. These organizations are well known for the range of programs they offer to get people on the path to security and independence. For many, these organizations are a safe haven and the support offered by them is essential to their well-being.
