In Montreal, the vast majority of charges laid against people experiencing homelessness are not crimes against the person, a study has shown. Their offences are instead related to survival, such as theft of food or clothing.
Our actions and programs are tailored to the individual needs and challenges of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We believe it is possible to intervene effectively at any point in their lives to break the cycle of homelessness.
